Our Story
Tahya Cinema bridges the gap between raw talent and monumental production. Born from a need to bring structure to Algeria's film industry, we're building the infrastructure to power its most ambitious projects.
Empowering Creative Professionals
To empower creative professionals by building the definitive infrastructure for the film industry. We provide the tools, visibility, and connections needed for talent to thrive in an increasingly competitive global market.
- AI-ranked talent discovery in one search
- Verified production standards
- Standard quotes & contracts
A Borderless Creative Economy
We envision a future where Algerian stories reach the global stage without friction. By opening access to professional production resources and to the people who know how to use them, we are removing the barriers between talent and the productions that need it.
Every application, message, offer and decision on Tahya Cinema is recorded. That record is not paperwork: it is what protects a technician from an unpaid week and a producer from a no-show, and it is the reason a group chat cannot replace a platform.
Milestones
The journey of building a new film network for Algeria.
Today
Building in the open
Tahya hasn't launched yet. We're building the platform hands-on with the first creatives and productions testing it on the ground in Algeria.
Next
Opening the marketplace
As the founding cohort grows, we're opening the marketplace to more creative professionals and productions across Algeria and the wider region.
Meet the Minds
We're a small, hands-on team of engineers and film professionals building Tahya directly in Algeria — real bios go up here once we're ready to put names to faces.
