Built With the First Wave
Tahya hasn't launched yet — we're building it directly with the first creatives and productions testing it on the ground in Algeria.
Why not just a WhatsApp group?
Most Algerian crews are still hired in group chats. That works until it doesn't.
| WhatsApp group | Tahya Cinema | |
|---|---|---|
| Who applied, and when | Scroll back through hundreds of messages | Every application is timestamped and listed per brief |
| Who this person really is | A phone number and a few photos | Verified profile, credits attested by past producers, reviews |
| Why a candidate was shortlisted | Nobody remembers | A transparent score with its reasons, visible to both sides |
| Rates, dates and the agreement | Buried in voice notes | Written in the brief and the application, kept on record |
| When something goes wrong | Your word against theirs | A record of every message, offer and decision |
Keep your WhatsApp group. Share the Tahya link in it — the record lives here.
